马文·哈里斯（Marvin Harris，1927.8.17~2001.10.25），生于纽约市布鲁克林。美国人类学家，对文化唯物主义和环境决定论的发展具有很大影响，是美国文化唯物论的倡导者和主要代表。1953年获哥伦比亚大学哲学博士学位，长期在哥伦比亚大学执教人类学并曾任哥伦比亚大学人类学系主，1981 年加入佛罗里达大学人类学系，并于 2000 年退休。他的研究涵盖种族、进化和文化等主题。主要着作有《人类学理论的兴起》（1968）、《文化唯物主义》（1979）、《文化人类学》（1983）等。
